Description

The City of Menlo Park is recruiting for the exciting and challenging position of GIS Analyst I. As a member of the Administrative Services team, the incumbent will plan, develop and implement activities related to the support, deployment, operation and usage of the City’s geographic information system (GIS). This position will coordinate projects related to management of interfaces, applications setup, business process review and customization and provide complex and responsible technical and analytical support to the Information Technology Manager in areas of expertise.

Ideal Candidate

If more than 26 applications are received, the most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an Oral Board Panel examination. All applicants will be notified by email as to whether or not they are invited to participate further in the selection process.

Tentative Oral Board Panel Examination date: Week of February 16, 2026

An Eligibility List will be established as a result of this examination process and will be valid for a period of six (6) months. The list may be extended up to a maximum of two (2) years. The hiring department will review the Eligibility List to determine which candidates will be invited to the department selection process.
