MPP employees serve at the pleasure of the campus President. MPPs do not serve a probationary period and never receive permanent status.

Position Salary Range: $5,909 - $8,864 per month

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $7,360 - $7,510 per month.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

About the Department/Position:

Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Belonging & Engagement, the Program Director of La Casita provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight of the center. This role is dedicated to advancing initiatives that support the academic, personal, social, cultural, and professional development of Latine/x Toros, while fostering a sense of belonging and connection for students of all identities and intersections at CSUDH. The Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of La Casita, including budget management, resource development, campus outreach, marketing, and the development and assessment of learning outcomes and goals. They are also responsible for building strategic partnerships across campus departments, programs, and divisions to enhance collaboration and student support. Additionally, the Program Director oversees the design of inclusive cultural programming that promotes student success and strengthens engagement, ensuring students have access to the support they need for retention and graduation.
