Job Description

Location : 123 Robert S Kerr

Salary : up to $90,000, based on education and experience

Full Time /Part Time : Full Time

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday

Primary Hours : 8am - 5pm

Position Description:

The Manager of Contract Monitoring is responsible for overseeing the agency’s contract monitoring operations within the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) Grants Management Office (GMO). This position provides strategic leadership, direction, and supervision for contract monitoring activities to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, grant requirements, and OSDH policies. The Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent monitoring practices across all programs, supporting risk management, developing staff, and enhancing internal processes to promote efficiency, accountability, and transparency in the use of public funds.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in contract management, grant administration, compliance, or public sector financial oversight is required, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of two year of such experience. Supervisory or managerial experience is required. Experience with federal grant management, subrecipient monitoring, or state-level procurement processes is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels. While performing the duties of the job, employees are required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; carry light items; drive an automobile. This position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computers and phones. Applicants must be willing to perform all job-related travel associated with this position. Occasionally, in state overnight and weekend travel may be required. Being present at the office is an essential function of the job
