Workdays & Hours: FLSA Exempt position. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm; some evening/weekend work required. Hybrid on-site work model available with supervisory approval; staff required to be on-site at least 2 days per week (this is non-negotiable).

A Sr. IT Business Planner position is available with the City of Fort Worth IT Solutions' newly created AI Unit. As Artificial Intelligence demands within the City continue to grow, we need a person to help coordinate AI requests throughout the departments. This includes gathering the requirements, identifying risks, verifying the request will not violate any policies, identifying if alternative solutions already exist, and making sure that all requests follow the formal AI Governance process.

Specifically, this person will need to have a great understanding of: AI governance, development of local polices around AI, and Federal and State legislation around AI requirements as it pertains to the use of within a government agency.

Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Background Check

Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.
