The Project Coordinator position supports the Transmission and Substation Engineering and Construction Project Management team. This position coordinates the engineering and support activities for various projects and/or programs. Responsibilities include supporting, maintaining analysis and tracking financial reporting for programs and projects.

Position requires pulling data from various sources and uploading to a dashboard, so strong dashboard, Excel / spreadsheet / database knowledge to pull data from multiple sources for evaluation and comparison to criteria. Will coordinate development/reviews for permitting, agreements, AE teams, other City departments, permitting entities, developers, etc. Will coordinate new project requests and tracking progress of contracting through City Contracting for AE rotation list and professional services.

Monday through Friday. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
40 Hour Work Week (Hybrid Available)

Salary:

$32.96 - $41.20/hr., depending on qualifications and experience.

Critical:

This position has been designated as a Critical Employee position. Critical Employees are considered necessary and vital and supports activities that impact City or department operations. This work can be done while at a designated work site or while working at an alternate work location. Critical employees who are able to work at an alternative work location are required to do so. Schedules may be modified, and employees may be reassigned to another area during extraordinary situations or emergency conditions to provide essential services.

Driving Requirement:
This position requires a valid Texas Class C Drivers’ License or the ability to acquire one by your hire date. City of Austin employees that promote or transfer into driving required positions must meet the City of Austin’s Driver Record Evaluation (DRE) requisite. To be considered for a driving position, external applicants cannot have more than six City Driver Points (CDP) within a period of thirty-six (36) months.
