CSEA Range 19 ; Part-time/Non-Exempt; 24 hours per week; 12 months per year

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

The Bilingual/Biliterate Support Center Representative will be dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and representing Butte College with professionalism and responsiveness in a call center setting. This position plays a vital role in supporting a diverse student population by providing assistance in both English and Spanish on a wide range of topics related to admissions, enrollment, and campus resources.

Located at the Main Campus, the Support Center is a dynamic, student-centered environment staffed by both full-time and part-time employees. The team is committed to fostering access, equity, and inclusion through timely, accurate, and compassionate support. This role includes staffing our dedicated Spanish line and contributing to our multilingual outreach and service efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, cultural humility, and the ability to provide bilingual/biliterate services that enhance student success. The Support Center values collaboration, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meeting the needs of students, faculty, staff, and the community.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is Monday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Summer hours will be Monday - Wednesday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications



* High School education equivalency equals an adult education diploma or four (4) years of full-time, paid work experience.
