The Position

Napa County is seeking a Staff Services Analyst to join the Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) team with the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA). This full-time position supports agency-wide initiatives that strengthen workforce development, streamline processes, and improve organization effectiveness.
About the Role
Under direction of the L&OD Project Manager, the Staff Services Analyst I provides technical and administrative support to ensure L&OD operations run smoothly. This includes:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Education:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be:

Experience:
No related experience is required.

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework preferably in business administration, public administration, systems analysis, accounting, or related field. (Responsible supervisory or higher-level experience performing a variety of difficult analytical work, which includes the independent research, analysis, and preparation of reports, in any of the following areas: administrative, management, personnel, fiscal, budgetary, or data processing may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.)

License or Certificate:* Possession of a valid California Driver's License.

*Any license, certification, or registration required for this position shall be maintained (i.e., active and in good standing) at all times during employment with Napa County. For continued employment with Napa County, you must maintain such license, certification, or registration to meet the minimum qualifications of this position.
