Annual base salary: The current rate for this position is $43,511.93. Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
Job Location: This position is located at 3418 Knipp Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri.

What you’ll do :
Assist customers who have question about their overpayment claim(s) and/or the Treasury Offset Program.
Assist with payment arrangements for the repayment of overpayment claims(s).
Serve as a liaison to prosecuting attorney’s offices and other governmental and law enforcement agencies.
Conduct pre-employment background checks on DSS new hires.
Exercise independence in performance of responsibilities; receives general administrative direction
Compile and analyze information related to suspected cases of fraudulent receipt of public assistance benefits.
Examines and analyzes a variety of records to secure information concerning suspected violations of federal and state laws and/or regulations. Utilize databases for entering, updating, and tracking complaints and investigations.
Complete and submit monthly vehicle expense logs as well as ordering office supplies.
Perform other related work as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
