Description

Administrative Support Assistant- Specialty Clinic

Hours of work: 7:30am-4:00pm (periodically may need to work flexible hours)

This position is a mid-level specialized support and technical position involving a high degree of independent judgement. Duties include but are not limited to; data entry, coordinating office functions, maintaining schedules, gathering information and preparing reports, maintaining clinical files, revising and updating manuals, managing clinic communications, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and responding to inquiries. This position works directly with the Specialty Clinic Staff and Medical Clinic Providers. The eligible applicants must have effective communication skills, organizational skills and work well as a team player.

Preferred Qualifications



Typical qualifications:

2 or more years of experience as an Administrative Support Clerk; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency

Or

2-4 years of relevant office or clerical experience; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.

(Training from an accredited vocational or business school in Office Management, Secretarial Science, or a closely related field may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours, or 480 clock hours, for one year.)
