Description

Albemarle County has immediate opening for an interim General Registrar. This is a temporary appointment to support and lead the County through the 2025 fall election cycle and serve until a permanent appointment is made. For consideration, candidates should have prior experience working or volunteering in the election process, have great organizational skills with attention to detail, and have excellent communication and facilitation skills. Former General Registrars and/or Chief Deputy Registrars from within the Commonwealth of Virginia are ideal and strongly encouraged to apply.

Selected candidate will be paid salary of $5,254 bi-weekly for the duration of the temporary appointment. Deadline to submit application is Monday, September 1, 2025. Please include a resume and brief cover letter.
