Description
Job Location: - The office for this position is located at the Harry S. Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.

Provide daily support to agency users through updates to content, training staff, participating in projects, troubleshooting site issues as well as checks and remediation to enforce accessibility standards. Works in a fast-paced environment and is responsible for updating both static and content management style sites. Works closely with agency staff to ensure the citizens of the state have access to online services on both agency and enterprise levels.

- The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Web Development Team.

- Completes page changes, uploads documents, and creates new web pages (as well as deleting them) for agency staff.
- Understands basic HTML, CSS and Server Side Includes.
- Make updates to the sites we have in content management systems (Drupal and WordPress).
- Possess a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of the core programming language used in the assigned area, such as HTML, CSS, Server Side Includes, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of computer logic statements and their applications.
- Ability to learn and apply concepts.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics.
- Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas, and think critically to resolve issues.
- Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel.
- Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
