The City of Claremont Community Development Department is looking for one highly energetic and motivated self-starter to serve in the position of Planning Intern.

The Position

The Intern position is designed to provide pre- and post-graduate college students with work experience as they prepare for future careers in urban planning or a related field.

The Planning Intern is a part-time position, working approximately 20-25 hours per week. Hours of work are Monday - Thursday, work hours vary with division needs. Some evening and holiday hours may be required for special events.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Qualified applicants will have completed at least one year of college with some course work in urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, environmental sciences, or a related field. Applicants must possess a valid Class C California drivers' license and a good driving record.
