What You'll Be Doing

The Department Fiscal Operations Section is a vital hub of financial activity, made up of three key units: Billing and Receivables, Grants, and Disbursements.

As a Senior Accounting Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our fiscal engine-processing a high volume of detailed accounts payable transactions with precision and efficiency. Your day-to-day will include reviewing and handling invoices, travel reimbursements, requisitions, purchase receiving reports, cash deposits, and contract encumbrances-all in alignment with established fiscal policies and procedures.

You’ll collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including County supervisors, front-line staff, internal team members, and external merchant vendors. This role offers a dynamic environment where attention to detail, communication, and adaptability are key. Additional responsibilities may be assigned, offering opportunities to grow and contribute across the department.

Hiring Range: 25.79-30.08

Market Range: 25.79 - 34.37

Emergency Service Worker Statement
