Job Location: - The office for this position is located in the Harry S. Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.

- Serve as an IT Project Manager on small-to-large projects.
- Continually collaborate with project stakeholders and team members.
- Responsible for traditional Project Management activities, including but not limited to: creating Project Plans, defining scope, estimating costs, oversight of project budget, accurate and timely status reporting, and mitigating project issues through change requests.
- Ability to perform all duties expected of an IT Project Manager with minimal supervision.
- Ability to plan and organize projects, ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Ability to manage a project from conception to implementation.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Ability to lead a team. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop the skills of staff. Ability to negotiate.

Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant. Strengths in Negotiation, Lean and Strategic Thinking, Building Strong Partnerships and Relationship Building, and the ability to develop productive, team-oriented relationships are also beneficial. Knowledge of Scrum according to Scrum.org’s Scrum Guide is also beneficial.
