Full-time position available with the Parks & Recreation Department, Natural Resources Maintenance Division, located at 4600 E. 63rd St.
Starting Salary: $22.52/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Maintains weekly, monthly and yearly reports.
- Creates reports as needed such as snow, mowing, and equipment reports using CivicRec, Cartegraph and Drive Cam, etc.
- Assists with contract administration and cooperative agreements.
- Keeps track of renewal and insurance information that is needed for all contracts and cooperative agreements.
- Provides support to all districts with safety training and maintains all files so we stay in compliance with the AR's and department accreditation.
- Serves as the district POC for employee training.
- Supervises a small to a large crew of employees & contractors with mowing, landscaping, snow removal etc.
- Assists with maintaining the operation of the snow command center, communicates with all districts on areas utilizing, Rubicon, snow reports.
- Assists Park Superintendent with parks and boulevard inspections.
- Assists with code enforcement to help cut down on violations within our parks and Right of Ways, boulevards and parkways.
- Assists with the divisional budget analysis and needs.
- Provides excellent internal and external customer service.
- Works overtime as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRES an
accredited Bachelor's degree.

The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
