The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds and Event Center is seeking a skilled individual to join the team as a Temporary Grounds Maintenance Technician!

This temporary part-time position is expected to last approximately 11.5 months. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 30-39 hours a week, with potential weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing:

• Performing landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
• Planting, pruning, and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
• Redistributing and replenishing rock and mulch.
• Assisting with lawn aeration.
• Adjusting and repairing sprinkler systems.
• Applying herbicides, fertilizers, and other landscape treatments.

What we're looking for:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in grounds maintenance.
• Ability to apply chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Skill in operating and maintaining equipment.
• Capability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Commitment to operating equipment safely.
