Overview

The Office of Emergency Management is hiring a Grant Project Specialist to support the coordination, implementation, and administration of local, state, and federal grant-funded projects. This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely, compliant, and effective project execution that supports community resilience and emergency preparedness.

This position will be working with a variety of partners who will have varying schedules. Typical work week would be from M-F during workdays, but flexibility will be needed for nights and weekend activities when required. Occasional travel to meeting sites is required. Mileage is reimbursable and county vehicle is available.

This is a limited-term position. Individuals hired into limited-term positions are eligible for County benefits. However, the position is limited in duration, dependent upon available funding or business need.
