Wake County is looking for two (2) dynamic Team Leads to support our Family & Children’s Medicaid (FCMA) Review section at our Somerset location. Each of our FCMA teams is made up of a supervisor and 8-10 eligibility caseworkers.

About Our Team

The Family & Children’s Medicaid (FCMA) Program ensures eligible low-income households have access to essential medical coverage. As part of the Review Section within the Economic Services Division of the Health and Human Services Department, this team plays a key role in upholding that mission. Each team includes a supportive supervisor and a dedicated group of 8-10 eligibility caseworkers. As the Team Lead, you'll be a trusted resource-answering questions, guiding staff through new processes, and helping navigate complex cases. You'll work closely with both new and experienced staff, assessing training needs and partnering with the Program Staff Development Section to deliver meaningful learning opportunities. Your leadership will be essential as we strive for a balanced focus on both quality and productivity-aligning our casework with standards set by Wake County Quality Control and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

Hiring Range: 23. 57-30.28

Market Range: 23.57 - 37.00

Emergency Service Worker Statement
