Pay Range: $51,308 - $64,135 annual compensation

Workdays & Hours: Thursday-Sunday 11am - 10pm; evening/weekend work required.

A Parking Compliance Crewleader job is available with the City of Fort Worth Transportation/Public works-Parking Compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customer service, ordinance compliance, meter bagging, and permit checking. Adherence to established policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma/GED.
- Two (2) years of customer service experience, or operational activities related to parking and recordkeeping/report writing.
- Must pass Background, Drug Screen and Physical.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications: - One (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Access skills.
- 2-way radio operation or functioning in emergency situations.
- De-escalation skills.
The Parking Compliance Crewleader job responsibilities include: - Communicate with the public about best parking practices which leads to safe and efficient use of on street curb space.
- Be able to know parking ordinances and ensure compliance with these ordinances.
- Issuing citations and warnings for non-compliance.
- Be able to lead Team when Supervisors are not on duty.
- Be able to ensure that items, task or responsibilities assigned to Parking Compliance technician (PCT) are completed.
- Be able to provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking ordinances.
- The position requires significant periods of time working alone and therefore must exercise good time management, proper judgement, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with customers.

Incumbents may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors, dust, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, intense noises, gases, vibrations, chemicals, oils, and workspace restrictions.
Physical Demands: Heavy Work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
