The Bureau of Data Modernization and Interoperability is currently recruiting for a Project Specialist. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has strong written and oral communication skills, is capable of working in a team environment, and interacting with a diverse group of audiences. This position will be responsible for assisting with Missouri’s public health response efforts by providing support to Local Public Health Agencies (LPHAs), hospitals, laboratories and other health care providers with respect to their reporting needs to Missouri’s electronic disease surveillance system, ShowMe WorldCare. This position will help assist with the entry of laboratory results, case reports, and other reportable information into ShowMe WorldCare and other electronic public health systems throughout DHSS.

• Accurately and efficiently input data from various sources following current entry guidelines
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of previously entered data and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
