The Department of Public Works has an immediate opening for one (1) full-time, at-will, unclassified Clerk Typist III within the Transportation Project Management Bureau. The full-time Clerk Typist III position will serve as direct clerical support for the Streets CIP Officer.

The Transportation Project Management Bureau focuses on the planning and project delivery to ensure alternative transportation and complete street elements are included within larger infrastructure projects providing a more streamlined and holistic approach to planning, design and project management. The Transportation Project Management Bureau has a specific focus on planning, grant management, and capital project delivery for transportation, mobility, and other horizontal infrastructure projects. The Bureau is currently comprised of 31 staff in two divisions: Streets CIP Division and the Corridor & Special Projects CIP Division. The Streets CIP Division is focused on planning, designing, and constructing local and arterial street rehab projects and the Corridor & Special Projects CIP Division is focused on larger transportation corridors and special projects.

This recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies in the same grade and classification within the Public Works Department.
