Hours per day: This is an hourly position and the work schedule is determined by the principal and/or athletic director.
Salary Level: $15.74/hr
This position is not eligible for benefits.
Minimum age requirement: 16
Examples Of DutiesResponsibilities:This is a part-time hourly/seasonal position that assists with various tasks during athletic events as assigned. Specific information regarding the particular roles listed above will be provided in the interview process.
Other Job Duties: 1. Attends district and building meetings as needed.
2. Performs necessary correspondence duties.
3. Updates knowledge by attending clinics, workshops, and maintain familiarity with current activity trends and innovative ideas.
4. Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsEducation and ExperienceHigh school graduation or equivalent.
Allowable SubstitutionAny combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work.
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of building, Tacoma School District, and Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) policies, regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and English usage.
Keyboarding skills.
Skill in operating a variety of office machines.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to use a variety of computer programs, including word processing.
Ability to set and maintain an accurate filing system.
Ability to work effectively under pressure situations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to establish and maintain effective work and student relationships with a variety of people in a multi-cultural, diverse socio-economic setting.
