Summary

Job TitleESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Communication – Internal and External Coordinate with AWC Program Manager to assure the Agency With Choice Program is meeting Federal, State and Agency requirementsAssist with development of all Federal, State and Agency reporting requirementsMeet with Administrative Entities and Supports Coordinators in all 8 counties for the purpose of program development, problem solving and trainingProgram Development Coordinate with Administrative Entities and Supports Coordinators in all counties to develop new and revise existing programsResearch and recommend changes to The Arc's policies and procedures relating to the AWC programGain continuous knowledge of program and budget development using ODP Service Definitions and established ratesTrack client utilizationComplete annual Managing Employer evaluationsEnter and maintain accurate data in the Billiyo databaseAssist in processing SSP timesheets in BilliyoAssist in entering encounters in BilliyoAssist in reviewing the payroll reportComplete Managing Employer monthly progress reports if neededAssist with annual mailings for training, surveys, etc.Maintain organized filing system and Excel spreadsheet for all ME and SSP training sign-offsTroubleshoot issues with Billiyo database with the developerTrain all ME's and SSP's on utilizing electronic business practices including BilliyoTraining Provide necessary and requested trainings to Managing Employers and Support Service ProfessionalsAssist the Managing Employers through training and support with successful implementation of their contracted dutiesAssist the Managing Employers with training, support, recruiting and termination of their employeesProgram Enrollment Enroll all Managing Employers and verify that all requirements are met to perform the role of an MECreate, organize and update Managing Employer folders for new individuals participating in the Agency With Choice programUpdate Managing Employers on client utilization is issues are notedCollect updated paperwork from Managing EmployersMiscellaneous Travel and work flexible hoursObtain knowledge of the state HCSIS system and agency payroll systemHave knowledge of the State Incident Management reporting processParticipate in agency committeesFill in for the other Program Specialist as neededAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In addition, the candidate must be competent in problem solving, interpersonal skills, verbal communication, written communication, planning/organizing, quality control, adaptability and dependability. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred or a high school diploma and five years of experience working directly with intellectually disabled individuals required. Salary commensurate with experience.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply understanding and problem-solving skills to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to deal with problems in a constantly changing environment.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time on a very frequent basis.
