Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remotework Special Instructions to Applicant: This is a part-timeposition, with a maximum of 19.5 hrs. per week Job Summary: This role is responsible for providing circulation support serviceswithin the campus library.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Performance Requirements* Performs library work of a moderately complex natureProvides circulation services including organization of librarymaterialsMaintains circulation records and prepares reports asnecessaryOrganizes reserve itemsAnswers moderately complex questions, refers questions to alibrarian, when appropriateLocates materials including databases and electronic resourcesfor students and facultyProvides check in and checkout services as well as properlyshelving library materialsEffectively uses an automated circulation systemDevelops an extensive working knowledge of library services,policies and practices; and ensures compliance with all applicablelaws, policies, and proceduresCommunicates library services, policies and practices tostudents, faculty and staffPerforms advanced library operational skillsManages technical matters and human relations issuesMaintains operational reports and makes reports asrequestedService Excellence Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksiteCompletes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollegeSupervision Works under the general supervision of the assigned departmentleadership*Performs Other Related Tasks as Required The duties listed are intended only as illustrations of thevarious types of work that may be performed. While performing the duties ofthis job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands tofinger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach withhands and arms; and talk or hear.
