Summary
Senior Acquisition Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support our client in Colorado Springs, CO. The Acquisition Analyst will be assigned to support the US Space Force's Satellite Communications Sustainment Division within Space Systems Command (SSC/CGM). You will becollocated with our customers at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. The position provides acquisition support to develop, launch, field, and sustain America's current and next-generation satellite communication programs. You will deliver space-based capabilities and effects to our warfighters and allied partners.
This position provides on-site support to our Space Force customers and interacts with DoD and SSC leadership as well as their staffs on a daily basis. You will be in the premier space organization responsible for the development, operations, and sustainment of military satellite communication programs. Key duties associated with this position include:
- Apply critical thinking and experience to develop solutions for our customer's most challenging issues
- Develop strategic briefings and reports that summarize technical and programmatic issues, financial constraints, and accomplishments
- Manage information requests, inquiries, and tasks through completion
- Perform research and analysis that summarize relevant issues, incorporate policy and guidance, addresses government, industry, and international partner perspectives to provide recommendations and/or potential courses of action
US Citizen and possession of a current Secret Clearance
- Completion of a Master's degree in a related field
- 12 or more years of relevant experience
- APDP level III certification, PMP certification, or ability to obtain PMP certification
- Experience using DoD, Air Force, and/or Space Force tools and applications to include MS Office applications and software
Preferred qualifications
- 17 or more years of relevant experience
- Logistics and sustainment experience supporting pre and post Milestone C programs
- Experience developing Acquisition Strategies, developing and defining technical requirements, evaluating contractor proposals, and performing market research to identify qualified offerors
