City ProsecutorThe City of Flagstaff is seeking an experienced and collaborative City Prosecutor to lead the Prosecution Section of the City Attorney's Office. This high-impact leadership role oversees the fair, effective, and efficient prosecution of misdemeanor offenses within the City while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.The City Prosecutor serves as the public-facing leader of the Prosecution Section, supervising a team of attorneys and support staff and providing legal guidance on the interpretation and enforcement of laws, regulations, and City policies. Success in this role requires sound legal judgment, strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to build respectful, effective relationships with law enforcement, the Municipal Court, defense attorneys, other City divisions, and regional and state criminal justice partners.If you are a principled legal leader who is ready to make a meaningful impact in the Flagstaff community, we invite you to apply.
