Description The Multifamily Construction Superintendent will: Lead all on-site construction activities from project start through completion Proactively identify and resolve design deficiencies, scheduling concerns, and field-related challenges Communicate and interpret project scope to subcontractors and field personnel Conduct preconstruction and coordination meetings prior to each phase of work Create, maintain, and update project production schedules Review and assist in developing scopes of work for subcontractors Administer and enforce the project's Quality Control program Review project progress and coordinate subcontractors to maintain schedule objectives Enforce safety protocols and ensure jobsite compliance with OSHA standards Supervise and evaluate field staff while maintaining a positive and productive work environment Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to achieve project milestones Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with plans and specifications Profile The Multifamily Construction Superintendent should have: 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor Experience leading ground-up multifamily construction projects OSHA certification preferred Strong communication skills, both oral and written Experience managing large field teams and multiple subcontractors Strong understanding of scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience with apartments, mixed-use, student housing, or senior living projects preferred Job Offer The Multifamily Construction Superintendent will receive: Competitive base salary Discretionary bonus Truck allowance Cell phone and laptop Paid time off and sick days Excellent benefits including health, medical, vision, and dental insurance 401(k) plan available Professional development opportunities Opportunity for advancement into Senior Superintendent roles Long-term project stability with a growing contractor Supportive company culture and strong work-life balance MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
