Job Description:

Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for planning, directing and managing the programs and activities in transportation and public works enterprise operations and regulations. Reviews and incorporates standards and ensures compliance with existing codes and regulations related to transportation and public works.

Responsibilities - Supervisor and/or Leadership Exercised:

Responsible for the full range of supervisory activities including selection, training, evaluation, counseling, and recommendation for dismissal.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

Valid Class C Texas Driver License.

Notes to Candidate:

The Transportation Supervisor will be an integral part of the Right of Way Management Division (ROW). This position will be responsible for a Permit & Licensing team. These teams perform a variety of technical work involved in the acceptance, review and processing of City right of way use permits.

Pay Rate: $71,630.00 - $90,980.00.

Location: 6310 Wilhelmina Delco Dr, Austin, TX 78752

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Hours may vary depending on departmental needs and initiatives.
