TA 489B: Production and Performance

The Theatre Department at California State University San Marcos is seeking a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach TA 307: On-Camera Acting. The course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 2:50 pm. Successful candidates must have university teaching experience and have an MFA or equivalent professional experience.

Course Description

Provides hands-on experience in acting for film and television. Students will work in various genres (e.g., commercials, romantic comedy, drama, etc.) discuss acting techniques as they apply to film performance via practical projects, reading, written assignments and critiques.
