THE POSITION Under the supervision of the Funding Development Manager, the Staff Services Coordinator be responsible for all aspects of Implementation and Grant Management for the new California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Children's Crisis Continuum Pilot Program Grant. The Staff Services Coordinator will organize and facilitate meetings (develop agendas, engage stakeholders, and maintain minutes); represent the County in CDSS Learning Collaborative and Technical Assistance meetings; serve as the primary liaison with CDSS to ensure grant compliance; and support contract execution, scope of work updates, ongoing monitoring, and stakeholder coordination. The position requires strong analytical, critical thinking, reading, writing and interpersonal relationship skills. GENERAL INFORMATION Unless otherwise provided, this position is part of the Classified Service of the County and is assigned to the Mid Management/Supervisory bargaining unit for labor relations purposes. Individuals who are in a full-time classification position are required to serve a twelve-month probationary period, which may be extended an additional six months, for a total of eighteen months. Final appointment will be conditional upon successfully passing a County paid pre-employment drug screening (if applicable for position) and a job-related background investigation. Some positions may require possession or the ability to obtain, and maintenance of a valid California Driver’s license or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job related essential functions.
